Meet the Team – Sharon Hashimoto Burkert

Welcome everyone!  Over the last several months we have added some new, very talented stampers to our team and we thought it would be fun to give everyone (old and new alike) the opportunity to let you know a little bit about them themselves.  We are going to start with our Thursday Challenge team!

Introduction – Sharon Hashimoto Burkert

I wish I could tell you that I dream about cards and wake up with all kinds of inspiration. I think it might have happened once and I scrawled something on a piece of paper and when I woke up the next morning I had no clue what it all meant. I have a box of cards that I have received or made and when I get a new stamp set I go through the box to get ideas. It is my jumping off point. I also get inspiration from the weekly challenges. When I look back at some of my favorite cards many were inspired by a color combination or a sketch.

I am so thankful that I have stamping and Stampin’ Up! In my life, especially this past year. I can go in my craft room and forget about everything else but what I am making. Sending, receiving and making cards has helped me in so many ways during the pandemic.
