Happy Tuesday everyone! Do you like simple cards? What is a simple card anyway? Do you stamp one image on a folded piece of cardstock? Although that IS a simple card…there really is more to simple cards! Everyone’s definition of a simple card is somewhat different. Each week Connie and Mary will follow a THEME…this month the theme is “Welcome”…and make a simple card to match this theme of NEW products.
But first, our latest Collection!
Let’s celebrate with the FUN new Bright & Beautiful Suite of products that demos could preorder this month, including the BEAUTIFUL BALLOONS BUNDLE! (It will be available for all ALL customers to order beginning May 2.) This celebratory BEAUTIFUL BALLOONS STAMP SET has a variety of sized balloons, festoons and greetings for many different occasions! The BEAUTIFUL BALLOONS DIES cut out stamped balloon shapes, plus a confetti tag, a couple of star shapes and a fun fringe! We featured this BEAUTIFUL BALLOONS BUNDLE with an array of new CORE COLORS just added to the Stampin’ Up! Color Collections lineup! The BRIGHT & BEAUTIFUL DESIGNER PAPER is a fun complement! There are step-by-step instructions for SIX projects…FOUR card ideas and TWO fun gift favor projects we know you’ll enjoy making! See more details HERE!
So, make sure to check back each week and see what our “simple” cards look like! And feel free to use those ideas!

And did you know that besides our current tutorial collection, you can still get the PDF of our other collections too! Details can be found here!
Mary, how did you get your balloons to stamp so “smooth”? My new ink pads stamped blotchy.

I take a plastic spoon and run it across my ink pad to smooth out the ink an move some of the excess to the ends of the pad. That really helps to make it stamp better!
